Background

Shiny Happy Eco are a family run online only gift shop. They focus on eco friendly and sustainable gifts curated by the small family team. Shiny Happy Eco are committed to trading as responsibly as they can do, sourcing gifts from sustainable and fair trade suppliers. Even the attention they give to their packaging has the environment in mind – all of it is compostable or recyclable.

Shiny Happy Eco’s values needed to be reflected in the branding and assets that we created for them. Mode=Create set about developing some initial brand ideas and guidance that the team could use as they developed their business and expanded their sales channels. We referred to they care about most for inspiration… Nature.

Result

Mode=Create developed a logo that reflected the rough and ready feel of nature. The colour palette draws from the seasons, whilst imagery is evocative of the landscape and flora throughout the year.

We developed some example brand assets which showed the team how to pull all of the elements together into a coherent brand that communicates to their customers effectively.

Mode=Create also created a fully functioning and responsive e-commerce website that the team can manage themselves. To set them apart from their competitors, we photographed products as their customers would likely see them, in a home setting.

All of these elements form an offering that is truly unique. Shiny Happy Eco is growing in popularity with sales increasing period on period and incredibly positive feedback from customers.
