Top 3 Legal website design

Background

Top 3 Legal, a Chambers and Partners company, approached Mode=Create to redesign their website. This followed a successful web app redesign for them. We identified areas of the existing website where messaging wasn’t as clear as it could be. Their product was at times difficult to understand.

Mode=Create initially wire framed page layouts to agree new content areas. A priority was to ensure that the presentation of the product benefits was clear to their prospective clients. We worked closely with Top 3 Legal’s existing developers to ensure our designs would work with their development process.

Mode=Create then created a fully functioning high fidelity prototype. This prototype enabled all stakeholders to review and test the proposed site prior to committing development resource. We also updated and refined brand elements during this process.

Once approved, Top 3 Legal’s developers were able to gain all the design information and assets they needed to complete the website build efficiently. The result was a streamlined process that ensured the new site went live ahead of schedule and started to deliver results instantly.

We were looking for a designer to help us make some really important changes and improvements to our web application – about how we present key information to our users. From a commercial and development perspective we had a clear idea of the functionality we wanted and provided a brief to Gavin. He then went away and worked his magic on it – coming up with draft designs and UX recommendations that were excellent first time round. Better than our team could have hoped for.

Gavin presented concepts to us with a clear explanation of the pros and cons of different potential elements and treatments. Gavin then refined the designs based on our feedback and requests and provided all the code-related material to our lead developer to implement. The whole process was quick, efficient and seamless.

Gavin exceeded our expectations and was great to work with from a commercial perspective and in synching with the dev requirements. We will now be working with Gavin ongoing – highly recommend.
